- When I learned C it was under DOS, but I made every effort to learn ANSI C,
- not DOS C, and to write portable code. Nowadays I use unix without trouble.

- Well, since it sounds like you already are a hacker, and since any
- decent unix system -- like linux or freebsd -- comes with kernel source,
- I guess this isn't a problem, eh?
